Designed with vision and integrity, Esque Mosman is the perfect union of form and function – an example of intelligent, modern architecture within a vibrant urban environment.
The perfectly-proportioned building has 29 luxury residential apartments with clean geometric lines, rhythmic walls, handcrafted face bricks, masonry that is rendered and painted in a sophisticated colour scheme, glass balustrades, and a combination of fixed and moveable louvre screens.
Complementing the streamlined look are horizontal rolled seam blades of zinc on highlighted sections of the façade. This naturally-weathering tactile outer ‘skin’ not only looks dramatic, it acts as a durable shield against the sun and other elements.

"Esque is a little gem of a project. It features only 29 apartments but demonstrates best practice in medium-density development. The building fits in beautifully with its neighbours and adds to the value of the streetscape. In addition, the design of the ground-floor, street-frontage apartments activates the street and rear lane. The detailed design reflects an acute understanding of local market requirements. The communal spaces within the building are exceptional, featuring plenty of light and air, and are beautifully landscaped. Each of the apartments is well designed to optimise solar orientation and cross-flow ventilation. The apartments are also well equipped and the finishes have been chosen for longevity as well as looks.
The judges were impressed the developer had been able to work so well with the neighbours, negotiating with 27 of them to construct a hoarding and sub-contractors’ office on the narrow lane adjacent to their properties.”
