HELM is the cumulative vision of Bruce Edwards, Malcolm Edwards and Mark Monk. These highly regarded professionals, supported by HELM's dedicated team, believe that successful development is not necessarily measured by the profit made on each project.

Our team have been instrumental in developing and constructing a significant number of highly distinguished projects that have won over 30 National, State and Regional Awards. HELM have been awarded more than 3 times the number of awards than any other Medium Density Developer in Australia.

PROCESS

We are acutely aware of the social legacy each of our projects leaves to the community. We also understand that each project must be designed to be far more than just pleasing to the eye. To this end, we select highly skilled industry professionals who are committed to producing projects that are durable, functional, practical and timeless.

1.  Acquisition
HELM focuses on developments where extensive research confirms there is pent up demand for the type of development proposed.

2.  Development
Every facet of the development and construction process including site acquisition, concept design, design development, authority approvals, recurrent cost analysis, construction, marketing and sales is controlled by HELM.

3.  Design
HELM is dedicated to producing high quality, innovatively designed buildings that are balanced and beautifully proportioned. Simply put, buildings of architectural excellence.

4. Construction
One of the most critical components of any project is the construction process. HELM's Design and Project Managers are involved in each project from the design development phase. This process allows appropriate and demonstrated materials to be selected, with a focus on recurrent costs; trusted construction detailing is incorporated; and a meticulous standard of finish and workmanship is achieved.

5.  Sales & Marketing
HELM works closely with agents who share HELM's values and combines their knowledge and expertise with HELM's experience and intricate understanding of the markets it participates in to create benchmark developments.

6.  After Sales
HELM controls the settlement, handover and aftersales of each apartment within their developments. We are here to make our purchasers transition to their new home as stress free as possible.

The NSW Government introduced iCIRT in 2021 to give consumers greater clarity when considering an off-the-plan purchase.

This internationally recognised and regulated system calculates its ratings after rigorously investigating each company’s

+    track record 
+    capital risk and financial stability 
+    risk management processes 
+    business and procedural practices 
+    ownership structure, and 
+    past behaviour of its Directors 

The result is a star system which essentially indicates the trustworthiness of a company. The more stars a company has the more confidence consumers can have in their competence.

HELM is part of a select group which has received one of the highest iCIRT evaluations to date, 4.5 Gold Stars out of five, with the Former NSW Building Commissioner David Chandler OAM declaring, “HELM is one of this State’s quality developers.” 

As HELM does not develop in other States and specialises in Medium Density Development, the rating criteria precludes HELM from achieving 5 Stars.
