An icon in the making
In its pursuit of exceeding expectations, multi-awarding winning developer-builder HELM is ushering in a new era of luxury apartment living in the green heart of Mosman.
Reverie will grace Myahgah Road opposite picturesque Allan Border Oval, and back onto Vista Street. It will be HELM's seventh development on the Lower North Shore, each one striving to improve on the last, but never before has a site like this one become available.
It is, undoubtedly, the most prestigious opportunity in HELM's storied history. And to do the location justice, no expense, no effort and no derail has been spared.
Put simply, Reverie is an icon in the making; a confluence of vision, integrity, design excellence and craftsmanship.
Each of the 20 inspired apartments will deliver a level of sophistication never before achieved, even by HELM's lofty standards.
Rooms are the largest HELM has ever created, ceilings are the highest reaching up to 3.15m and include beautiful coffered ceilings to living/dining areas of all apartments, floorplans are the most diverse, and the inclusions are the finest.
The per-friendly Reverie consists of 12 oversized three-bedroom apartments facing Mosman Park. Along Vista Street will be four three-bedroom apartments and four two-bedroom apartments.
The seven ground level apartments will feature gardens on title up to a whopping 280sqm - perfect for those with 'green fingers'. Such extensive outdoor greenery is a bonus for any project but it is a particularly prized feature for new apartments so close to a shopping hub.
Luxury Perfected
So special is the Myahgah Road site that HELM has enlisted three extraordinary architectural firms to bolster its in-house design team and act as a creative collaboration for fresh ideas and perspectives: PCA, Brick Architects and Corben Architects.
Respecting the history of its setting yet embracing today's lifestyle needs, Reverie rises just three levels in two articulated and asymmetrical pavilions, well set back from each boundary. By splitting the built form into two balanced compositions each Reverie apartment gains multi directional aspects and outlooks, as well as options to chase the sun and catch prevailing breezes.
Archway flourishes and hand-crafted external brickwork are a visual nod to the adjoining Mosman Art Gallery, a heritage-listed building co-designed by Walter Burley Griffin.
Reverie 'rests lightly' on its footprint and is engineered to be kind to the environment. By incorporating passive solar design principles, heat storage is optimised in winter, heat transfer is reduced in summer, and multi directional aspects provide extensive cross flow ventilation to minimise the need for air conditioning.
Inside each apartment a highly efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning system will keep occupants comfortable all year round. Acoustically glazed windows provide excellent insulation and whisper quiet interiors. And, of course, HELM has selected appliances with high energy star ratings and are providing a solar array on the roof to generate power for the common areas within the building.
It's good news for the planet, for our city and for owners.
Inspirational interiors
Cocooned in an oasis of tranquillity amidst a verdant canopy of mature trees, senses will be enchanted by the sumptuous decor and timeless detailing of each Reverie apartment.
A palette rich with natural stone, timbers, tactile finishes and meticulously curated materials sourced from the world's fashion centres elevate the experience. Whilst beauty abounds comfort is paramount, with a scene-setting fireplace, heated flooring in all bathrooms and the laundry, and a master ensuite fit for royalty.
Technology is everywhere at the touch of a button, making life as easy as it has ever been. Nowhere is this more evident than in the kitchen which is a culinary dream. A suite of Wolf appliances (including 760mm ovens and warming drawer), a Zip hot, cold and sparkling water system, a fully-integrated Sub-Zero refrigerator, a single or dual full-height Sub-Zero wine fridge and a dedicated cocktail bar (for select apartments) are just some of the inclusions.
Natural light saturates the open-plan living spaces, which contain bespoke cabinetry and inventive storage solutions. Practical private terraces, containing a Wolf BBQ with a fridge, can be opened up or closed off to suit the differing needs and climatic conditions.
All Reverie apartments are step-free and designed to be accessible for all age groups and degrees of mobility. Several can be easily converted into fully disabled apartments, complete with disabled parking.
While parking is always at a premium in Mosman each apartment has security lock-up garages, many with an additional storage cage. Access to the underground parking is via a sophisticated number plate recognition system. There also are five visitor parking spaces.
